I hope you pull up a chair, sit down for a spell, grab a comfort drink, and take time to read the posts in Whimsical Banter.  If any of them resonate with you, feel free to post your stories, thoughts, memories, and comments. Maybe one of them will make you smile.  If it does, I've done my job.

During the mid-60's through the late 70's, humorist, writer, columnist, and journalist Erma Bombeck found the humor in the everyday experiences of being a wife and mother and shared it with her readers. I loved to read her columns. Her insights into life through everyday experiences resonated with me.

Now I am a husband and father of two children.  I've often been told I have a unique sense of humor.  Like Erma, I find life delightfully funny in so many ways.  And similarly, I want to share them with my readers.  Thus, the genesis of this website.
